The Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia Australian Research Consortium (CLLARC) was established in November 2005 with the aim of advancing the understanding, study and care of patients with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia (CLL). By coordinating the medical, scientific and research expertise in Australia, the CLLARC will facilitate Clinical Trials in CLL and CLL Research and Scientific Studies, by the development of various projects to promote effective diagnostic, monitoring and therapeutic tools to improve the management of patients with CLL. Furthermore, in partnership with the Leukaemia Foundation of Australia (LFA), the CLLARC will support education initiatives to increase public awareness of CLL and to assist patients and further the delivery of care to people living with this condition. Additionally, the CLL Australian Research Foundation (CLLARF) has been established as a non-profit, sustainable fund dedicated to CLL specific research, to create a base for ongoing CLL research in Australia. This website provides information on the CLLARC and its various projects, information on CLL and the opportunity to participate in and/or support the work of the CLLARC. |
